Managers of fantasy football leagues have some new inspiration as to what their last-place prize should be next season.
Joe DeLeone, a college football and draft analyst for Bleav, went viral on X after he said he was forced to eat his way through the McDonald's menu as punishment for losing his fantasy football league.
Joe DeLeone @joedeleoneI finished in last place in fantasy football, and tomorrow I have to do my punishment.
I have to sit on a McDonalds for 24 hours unless I can eat my way out of it. Here's the key I was given by a league mate for what I can eat to shorten my time ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/uhgidj67yb
DeLeone documented the experience over the eight hours it took him to eat enough food to leave the restaurant, as according to the rules of the league.
Joe DeLeone @joedeleoneJust finished the second big breakfast and I've been here for an hour. THIS IS LIGHT WORK pic.twitter.com/wP8R50qOXj
The saga gained more and more interaction as DeLeone documented the pitfalls of the experience, such as the result of ordering a dozen hash browns at once:
Joe DeLeone @joedeleoneThe hash browns are getting really soggy. Huge oversight
While struggling through his multiple breakfasts, DeLeone also did multiple media hits from the McDonald's:

"It was just cool to see how everyone was supporting this, because it's just a fun, stupid thing to do in the offseason," DeLeone said after completing the challenge. "Definitely was stupid, though. I'm gonna go lay down."
Joe DeLeone @joedeleoneIt's finally over, I'm never going to a McDonald's again pic.twitter.com/4pztMBudMa
Managers have 82 days to devise creative fantasy punishments of their own before the 2024 NFL season kicks off on September 5 with an AFC Championship Game rematch between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs.
